  The picture below shows a completed reversed induction manifold conversion. Here the manifold has been reversed not to clear the firewall (it’s ina T25), but so the induction plumbing is kept out of the way of the Webasto coolant heater which is fitted to this camper (half of which can be seen on the far left of the photo):
