I’ve recently bought this Syncro crew cab, mainly as a parts hauler / daily driver, so I don’t have to lug batches of castings and fabrications around inside my Syncro camper. It’s currently powered
by a 2.1 wasserboxer, but it’s tempting me to swap for Subaru power, as the two things which need attention (starter and power steer pump) would both get swapped as part of the conversion! Not sure what engine I’d like to go for yet, but the 3 litre flat six running on LPG sounds good.

.....and also bought this accident damaged Beetle. The intention was to repair it and sell it on, however, using it as a development / demo vehicle for Subaru powered Beetle components is a strong possibility!
