All of the technical information on this site is about European and ‘rest of world’ spec Subaru models (i.e. models built for everywhere but Japan and the US markets). Most of it is equally relevant to the US and Japanese / JDM models, but the model years that Subaru used different technology in is frequently different in these markets to the rest of the word. In general, most new technologies were introduced earlier in Japanese spec models.
