Feedback from a few customers:
First, rather then a bit of text coped and pasted from a message, this is what our most extreme customers use their Subaru powered VW for. Willow and Lee had put 100,000 km around South America between 2019 and Feb 2025 on their Subaru powered 1976 Bay / T2. They have a normally aspirated EJ201 joined to a 2 litre bay gearbox using one of our bell housings, and use various other RJES products including our under floor bay radiator system.
They’ve been to every country, and also to the southernmost point that you can drive to in the Americas, and across the Atacama desert at up to 4635m altitude. That’s over half the height of Everest!
At that height you lose about 45% of the power output of a normally aspirated engine due to the sir being so thin, via a road full or warnings that it’s only passable in 4×4’s. The cooling system performs less well too, for the same reason, but fortunately engines lose heat output at a faster rate then cooling systems lose the ability to dump heat at altitude, so you actually need less cooling at high altitudes than at sea level (see https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/19930091123/downloads/19930091123.pdf for details of why).
And through temperatures of up to the high 30’s degrees C in lower altitude deserts/ That’s effectively the hot climate testing my budget wouldn’t cover when developing the cooling system back in 2009, and proving that it performs almost exactly as the testing during development predicted (the prediction was about 40 degree C maximum ambient).

The following are a few messages customers have sent after using our products (without us ever asking them to)!
A.C., USA, 14/07/26 EZ30 air box kit 800-00090 (basic – air from in front of RH light):
Just a wee note to thank you for getting the induction system over to me. Fits like a glove, absolutely perfect. It has a huge impact on noise as well, a great upgrade!.
C.C, USA, 16/06/26, T25 eng mount crossmember and auto adaptor plate kit:
In gathering parts for my Subaru conversion, I received from RJES (UK) my engine mount and adapter plate highly impressed with the workmanship on these parts. Plus I don’t have to modify my tranny (drill out the upper left bolt mount and create a flat spot for the nut) with the adapter plate/ Price w/shipping and duty fees is comparable to buying from sources here stateside.

I would like to say how pleased I am with your service and support. Over the years, your advice has always been extremely helpful, and every part I have purchased from you has been exactly what I needed.
|It is rare to find someone with both such extensive technical knowledge and the patience to help customers understand these vehicles properly. I have complete confidence in your products and recommendations, and I am sure I will be in touch again before long for more parts and advice as I continue improving the van.
S.C: EZ30D Complete VAN / Bus D-Post Induction System Kit 800-00093:
a brilliant product. The whole air intake setup is an absolute work of art.
A.W.: 800-00009 Manual T25 to Subaru Stainless Steel Throttle Cable Kit, 8mm:
I installed my throttle cable on the weekend!
I am ecstatic with the throttle feel! To be honest, I thought it would be maybe as good as the original cable when connected to the original engine.
It isn’t! This cable makes the throttle feel better than it EVER has and the instant response is very impressive. It is perfectly progressive and makes the van a JOY to drive. It is very light, but also has great feel. I have to get used to it all over again. Driving in creeping traffic is no longer a chore, and I don’t have to concentrate on the throttle to maintain a constant speed on hilly roads.
Interestingly, the vans feels like it has a lot more power (it can get full throttle now), but also I don’t have to MASH the pedal to the floor to get anything to happen!
It’s a real bargain!
I used the *REDACTED!* cable initially… it sucks! Felt like a clutch pedal, weight-wise and not at all progressive – it was clunky and sticky feeling.
So thank you VERY much – I thought I’d let you know how great it is, even though you already know.
You need to blow your own trumpet on this one! You can put any of this on your website if you want!
Thanks a LOT,
